I hope you laugh at this

Here are some funny things that have happened to me recently.

I was talking to one of my best friends on the phone. Me "Oh, by the way, never take a walk in the pouring rain in high-heeled flip-flops." My Friend: "What idiot would do that?!?!" Me: "Well, considering I'm doing it right now... I know, I'm a dork but ya gotta love me!" My friend: "Yes, you are a dork. And I do love you."

At my softball game as we watched the other team warm up. One of my teammates: "Wow. They are gonna be so EASY to beat! They throw like girls!" Another teammate: "They ARE girls." "Yeah but they don't have to THROW like girls!"

My Friend from the first Scenerio while we were still on the phone: "A lady never says no..." Me: "Well, add that to the already long list of why I'm not a lady." XD I do dearly love being a tomboy! I like dressing up like once a year. But I like to be a tomboy more.

I got off Facebook the other day because I got bored. Five minuets later I got back on Facebook because I got bored. XD

And on sunday I got to play softball in the pouring rain! Such a privelege, I mean... Actually, I really did enjoy it. I got to get all dirty and not get in trouble for it! But I did end up with a sprained elbow, a nice sunburn and an imprint of third base cut into my leg. But hey, we won both games, so all is good! And I made some new friends.

Anyway, I couldn't think of anything else to write. So I wrote about some funny things. I hope you laughed at me and enjoyed this! Please, show your friends my blog! XD Like, all your friends. ;)

I enjoyed doing audio chat with you Beth :) that was just SO fun!
I wonder if we will laugh just as hard next time? I think it was harder to do than text chatting-- I wonder why. Must be cause we hardly ever see or talk with each other :)
I'll tell *all* my friends about your blog-- hey! You already have 5 followers!
    Love you!

  2. You are too FUNNY! Your personality comes out in each scenario. You know how to make me laugh. I am trying to figure out which one I like best...ok?... Lets see.. I like the FB one and the playing soft ball in the rain.
I like getting wet too and dirty. But I have to tell you... I love being a lady! I just love it. I have never been a tomboy and I do not know how to be one. But I do love a good water fight or snowball fight. And I do get to horsing around now and then with my younger bros.. And if someone wants to have a arm wrestle I am very quick to say yeah! me, Grace, Olivia were doing them and I could not beat them. So what am I going to do so I can beat them next time? I am going to do some muscle building and then the next time I'll beat them!
so I better go now dear friend. I have to milk the goats. that is one thing I love being is a country/farm/rustic gal! :)
I was nice to hear you voice last night! LOL
    so Long
    God Bless,

  3. Hannah: I know! Audio chat was sooo fun! We really gotta do it again soon, girl! I think we will laugh as hard the next time. I think it was akward because we were trying to figure it out. Yeah, one of those followers is me. =P =P I accidently followed myself! XP XP I guess you will start a new rage. Feminine Tomboy... lol! Love ya too!
Grace: I'm glad you laughed! I enjoyed audio chat too! =) Yeah, I used to like being a lady, but it is such a bother! I mean, I have to worry about how I look; I have to behave myself; I can't do many "fun" things; I can't joke like I usually do.... Lol! You can be the lady and I'll just stick to being good ol' tomboy me. =) But next time I come up there I wanna arm-wrestle you! God Bless you too. Love you dear sister!

  4. So a lady always watches her step and looks so *pretty*. They don't tell jokes, and they don't get dirty. I always thought I was a lady but with a tomboyish side to me. . .
I think we decided what I am.
I am a feminine tomboy, with a lady for a sister and a full fledged tomboy for a best friend! LOVE IT!

  5. I am a lady... But I do NOT worry about how I look at all. I just look how I look and act how I act and don't really think about it. I have read that it is not so good to be always laughing in a foolish way. I love a big laugh and would rather laugh than talk. But when you become my age you will know what I mean by me being a lady. When one comes to be the age that I am, it is very good to have learned sobriety and discretion in the thoughts, actions and words that flow from us daily. Not to say that I have achieved this but I am getting there :)
So dear friend, stay young and fun and don't try to grow up to fast.
a joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.
keep being joy and keep laughing! I want to arm-wrestle with you too! that would be fun!

  6. Grace,
I'm planning on staying fun forever, lol. When I say lady, and that I have too look nice, it generally means I had to go to something formal. And when I have to go to something formal, I have to look and act like the "proper southern lady" that I'm SUPPOSED to be. XD But just give me my shorts, tank top, and barefeet, and nothing formal to go to, and I'm super happy! But then again, it is fun to get "dress up" occasionally. XD
